Somerville is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Somerville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Very knowledgeable staff, and plenty of staff to help you quickly. I wish the younger employees had a little more β€œcustomer is always right” mentality.

Poor Service & Safety Issues + 236$ service fees on a bike I bought 70$! Brought my bike in for flat tire repair and brake pad replacement. The sales person was nice and the technician welcoming but the end work once outside of the boutique presented major issues. The tire work was done, but the service had serious safety issues: the brake lever is loose at its mounting point, the brake pads are not properly adjusted and drag on the front wheel, and both brake levers require excessive travel before engagement. There was also significant play in the pedal/crank assembly that wasn’t addressed, and the shop replaced my rear wheel without asking for my consent first despite my explicit request. Minimum final safety check was performed. Yes it was after work hours but I would still not have left the bike as it. Would not recommend. Especially for brake work.

Purchased a Cervelo from the Somerville store. It had a 1/4" chip in it (a chunk of paint and carbon was missing). Separately, I was sold cleats even though the pedals came with cleats... The Belmont store ended up swapping the bike 1:1 - but right before I left an employee walked up to me and said "just so you know, chips in the clear coat don't impact the integrity of the bike." Ironically, Gemini said verbatim "Do NOT let them tell you it's just cosmetic. The impact required to displace approximately 1/4 inch of carbon could have very likely caused spider-webbing that is not visible." I didn't die on the hill, but it was quite ironic.

I called and asked about changing my bike chain. The shop was incredibly responsive and clear about their price (which is also good). Once I arrived, they actually told me I didn’t need to change the chain at all, and helped me do a quick oil change at no cost. My bike works as new now. They are a really nice shop and don’t charge people extra for service their customers don’t need. Will come back for more bike maintenance services later!

The team here is fantasticβ€”friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. I recently returned an item after the first week of use, and they handled it effortlessly, no fees or fuss at all. Over time, I’ve picked up quite a few cycling essentials here: bike lights, saddle bags, socks, shorts, jerseys, caps, and more. Everything has been high quality, and the staff always make sure you leave satisfied. Their combination of excellent products and genuinely accommodating service makes shopping here a pleasure. I can confidently recommend this store to anyone in need of cycling gear or accessories
